The First Image of The New BlackBerry Android Returns to Point to Alcatel

The Alliance between BlackBerry and Alcatel has been giving that talk a few days ago. We know that the Canadian company intends to launch two new smartphones with Android this year, which, at the moment, we knew by the nicknames of BlackBerry “Rome” and “Hamburg”, and have also arisen tracks that mark could ally himself with a new manufacturer, which would not be other than TCL, responsible for the manufacture of terminals of Alcatel.

The BlackBerry Hamburg already poked in a benchmark and more recently in a WiFi certified, reinforcing signs of the possible agreement with Alcatel. Blackberry Hamburg has been filtered, this time in form of image courtesy of the profile of Twitter The Malignant, where it appears that it could be its definitive name: BlackBerry NEON.

As we said, the specifications already let see similarities that guard the not yet official BlackBerry NEON (Hamburg) with Alcatel Idol 4 – up to came to say that the delay in the arrival of the device of Alcatel would have something to do with the Alliance between both brands.

The filtered image supports the theory, and it is that the physical resemblance between the two models is more than evident. The metal frame widens into the top and bottom edges and even carries antenna lines placed in the same place. The shape of the camera and LED flash are also strongly, with the only difference of the logo of both brands.

All we know of the NEON BlackBerry

Despite the adversity, that there are few, on BlackBerry are determined to go ahead with its line of smartphones and in his last attempt would have resorted to Alcatel, specifically to TCL, the Chinese manufacturer that produces the mobile company.

According to the leaks, the NEON BlackBerry will count with a practically modeled technical profile of the Idol 4. The main difference would be in the processor, which in the case of the Idol 4 is a Snapdragon 617 and BlackBerry would be in its lower variant, the Snapdragon 615.

Moreover, the data filtered in test benchmark does not portend changes; Full HD 5.2-inch display, 3 GB of RAM, Android and 13 and 8 megapixel cameras 6.0.1 Marshmallow series. We will see if the formula works this time.
