
Aviation industry. – France intends to give aviation an ever greater development, so that the aeronautical industry can become one of the most important also in the field of exports. The appliance manufacturers that record a significant monthly average activity are: Bréguet, Blériot, Dewoitine, Farman, Nieuport, Potez, Lioré et Olivier, Loire, Gourdou Leseurre, in continuous progress. The impulse to the French aviation industry in the field of export tends to supply aeronautical materials to nations that do not produce them (Yugoslavia, Greece, Poland, etc.). Aircraft engines are mostly built by car companies, among which the most active are: Renault, Hispano-Suiza, Lorraine, Gnome-Rhône and Salmson.
Civil Aviation. – With regard to commercial aviation policy, France has decided to set up three major aviation networks: 1. continental network for connection with the capitals of Europe; 2. Eastern network for air services to the East and the Far East; 3. Western network for lines extending from Marseille to Congo and Madagascar, Morocco, West Africa and South America.
According to Militarynous, air traffic is entrusted to the following companies and related lines: 1. Compagnie internationale de navigation aérienne: a) Paris-Constantinople and branches (4119 Km.): Paris-Strasbourg-Prague-Vienna-Budapest-Belgrade-Bucharest and Constantinople.
