Our site has discovered a new benchmark for a device with the same specifications but a different model, code XT1706. There is nothing new to report, but will be useful as a reference to identify better the next leak.
The month of January was characterized by a rapid series of declarations, corrections and denials involving the future of Motorola and its most important brand following completion of the acquisition by Lenovo.
Although several have been given reassurances about the future of the range Bike G and motorcycles and, to this day there seemed to be no evidence that could indicate the imminent arrival of a Terminal belonging to these series. Fortunately, thanks to its passing at GFX tables Bench, today we find that Lenovo and Motorola are at work on the next bike and 3rd generation, spotted with code XT1700.
Emerging specifications are interesting because they show a significant improvement in the hardware equipment compared to the previous generation, with a 4.5-inch display, 1 GB of RAM and qHD “Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC 410. In fact the latter component, the SoC, it might be the only one to have undergone a decline during the generational leap, but let’s go with order.
Motorcycles and 3rd generation appears to be using a 5 ” HD 720 presolution with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Interesting upgrade for the graphics, which shows us an 8 MegaPixel rear sensor and a 5 MegaPixel front, all taken by Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Definitely less interesting the SoC chosen, a MediaTek MT6735P featuring a quad coreCortex-A53 from 1.0 GHz and a GPU Mali T270 MP2. In this case it is a step backwards compared to the performances that can guarantee a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, if Motorola decides to opt for the standard variant of MT6735, this can offer a discreet performance improvement compared to Qualcomm’s proposal. This probably will not happen, since the target price range bikes and has always been slightly above 100 Euro; in any case, we just have to wait for further details over the next few weeks.
